Here you will see a pool renovation that turned into a new pool which was approved via council as a Complying Development Certificate (CDC). We changed the footprint of the pool, added retaining walls and extended copings. The pool ended up being a lot smaller, in which a CDC was necessary.
This pool was about 9m x 5m and now is about a 5m x 5m square. We had to get a machine in to remove the top off the old coping off to lower the height because the new pool actually comes up and over the pool.
This alteration married in perfectly with the house as he was getting a new deck next to the pool. We got the pool and removed the non existent section completely. We put a big hole in it and filled the yard with dirt and soil. Our engineers plans installed the steel into the pool with formwork.
We installed retaining walls on the boundary and then shotcrete the pool until it looked brand new. All the plumbing went through the existing concrete and out to the designated area. We used a travertine tile on the coping and an Ezarri waterline tile as the mosaics a light grey waterline tile.
A light white Sky Pebblecrete with white bead inside of it was installed. Which gives a light blue pool. We used AstralPool products, Fluidra as the pool equipment filtration. We have an acid doser on the pool equipment which means it can control the PH makes it a little bit more automatic. Everything is brand new and everything is perfect. So please enjoy.
